Every groundman's first lesson, on a shirt: a knot chart with the bowline, square knot, figure eight and overhand, each drawn as twisted rope with its own one-line rule.

Hot Stick Society is our line for power linemen, groundmen, apprentices and storm crews: the people who roll out on mutual aid, climb in weather everyone else hides from and keep a bag packed all season. Good for apprentices, groundmen and the old hands who still make the new guys tie a bowline blindfolded.
